Install guidance
Extract the ZIP, run L2Rebels Updater.exe as administrator, and wait for it to finish downloading the client. Once done, launch the game through the updater shortcut. If you run into issues, check the pinned Discord post or ping staff for help—the community maintains a detailed troubleshooting thread.
Server Rules
General Behavior
- Mutual Respect: All players must treat each other with respect and courtesy, regardless of differences in opinion, skill, or gaming experience. Any form of harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech is strictly prohibited.
- Appropriate Language: The use of offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language in the game's communication channels (general chat, private, clan, etc.) will not be tolerated.
- Sportsmanship: Players must maintain sportsmanship, avoiding excessive taunting or toxic behavior during the game.
Use of Software and Exploits
- Prohibition of Hacks and Cheats: The use of any third-party software that provides unfair advantages, including bots, unauthorized macros, hacks, or any form of cheat, is strictly prohibited.
- Bug Exploitation: Players should not exploit bugs or glitches in the game to gain unfair advantages. Any bug found must be reported immediately to the server support team.
- Allowed Tools and Modifications: Only modifications officially approved by the server are allowed. Consult the server guidelines or contact the support team for confirmation.
Accounts and Security
- Account Ownership: Each player is responsible for the security of their own account. Sharing accounts with other players is discouraged, and if it results in problems, the server team will not be responsible for the consequences.
- Protection of Personal Information: Never share sensitive personal information or account details with anyone. The server team will never ask for your password or personal information. Be suspicious of any such requests.
- Account Recovery: In case of loss of account access, follow the official recovery procedures provided by the server. Provide all necessary information accurately to facilitate the recovery process.
Trade and Transactions
- In-Game Transactions: Trading of items and currency within the game must follow the official game mechanics. The practice of scamming during transactions is prohibited; any attempt to deceive another player will be severely punished.
- Real Money Transactions: It is strictly prohibited to buy or sell accounts, items, currency, or any game-related service for real money or other forms of compensation outside the game. Involvement in RMT (Real Money Trading) will result in permanent ban.
- Donation System: Donations to the server are voluntary and must be made only through the official methods provided. Benefits or rewards received from donations should not be resold or exchanged for real money.
Interaction with Server Staff
- Respect for Administrators and Moderators: Server staff members must be treated with respect in all interactions. Follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the team to ensure a harmonious gaming experience.
- Reporting Issues and Violations: Use the appropriate channels to report bugs, technical issues, or rule violations by other players. Provide detailed information and evidence when possible to assist in the investigation.
- Abuse of Support System: Do not abuse the support system with unnecessary requests, spam, or false information. Inappropriate use of support may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.
Communication and Chat
- Spam and Advertising: Sending repetitive messages (spam) in the game's chat channels is prohibited. Advertising other servers, products, or unrelated services without prior authorization is not allowed.
- Disclosure of Confidential Information: Do not share other players' personal information without consent. Avoid disclosing confidential or private information that could compromise someone's security.
- Inappropriate Content: Sharing adult, violent, or offensive content in the game's communication channels is strictly prohibited.
Naming of Characters and Clans
- Appropriate Names: Character, pet, and clan names should not contain offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language. Names that imitate or impersonate server staff members are prohibited.
- Name Changes: The server team reserves the right to request or force the change of names that violate these guidelines. Recurrence in inappropriate names may result in additional penalties.
Events and Special Activities
- Fair Participation: During official server events, all players must follow the specific rules established for each event. Any attempt to manipulate or cheat in events will result in disqualification and possible additional penalties.
- Cooperation: Cooperation and community spirit are encouraged during events and special activities to promote a positive experience for all participants.
Penalties and Rule Enforcement
- Penalty System: Rule violations will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with penalties ranging from warnings to temporary or permanent bans, depending on the severity and frequency of the infractions. The server team has final authority in determining appropriate penalties for each situation.
- Appeals: Players who believe they have been unfairly penalized can contact the support team to appeal the decision. Appeals must be made respectfully and provide clear arguments and evidence to be considered.
- Rule Updates: Server rules may be updated periodically. It is the players' responsibility to stay informed about any changes. Notices about important updates will be provided through the server's official channels.
Acceptance of Rules
- Agreement: By creating an account and playing on the server, the player automatically agrees to all the rules established here. Ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as justification for violations.
- Feedback and Suggestions: Constructive feedback and suggestions for improving the rules and server are welcome and can be sent through the appropriate channels. The server team considers community feedback essential for the continuous development and improvement of the gaming environment.
